BEL AIR.

What happens when you follow your own dream, your passion, your ambition – and you absolutely refuse to let anybody or anything get in your way? The BRABUS BODO CABRIOLET is the open-top counterpart to the BRABUS BODO Gran Turismo Coupe and a deeply personal tribute to company founder Bodo Buschmann. Inspired by his lifelong passion for powerful, fast cabriolets, the strictly limited the 2+2-seater combines a coachbuilt carbon-fiber body and active aerodynamics with a 735 kW / 1,000 hp twin-turbo V12 and an intricately hand-crafted BRABUS Masterpiece interior.

More than a bold design evolution, the BRABUS BODO CABRIOLET represents the fulfilment of a vision shared by Bodo Buschmann and his son Constantin nearly two decades ago: to create an unmistakable, attitude-forward Gran Turismo developed entirely in the spirit of BRABUS. The BRABUS BODO CABRIOLET is limited to just 77 vehicles worldwide, produced as a separate limited series from the Gran Turismo Coupe.

One dream. One legacy. One car.
This is BODO.

DESIGN & EXTERIOR. SILK STONE.

As with the BODO Gran Turismo Coupe, the entire body of the BODO CABRIOLET is manufactured from strong yet lightweight carbon fiber using the pre-preg process. The bespoke carbon-fiber body is finished in elegant BRABUS “Silk Stone” and paired with a specially developed two-tone black and gray Jacquard soft top. Its inverted BRABUS “77” motif is woven directly into the structural fabric rather than applied as a print or coating, creating a subtle relief effect across the entire roof surface while ensuring exceptional resistance to UV exposure, abrasion and repeated folding cycles. The result is a distinctive open-top design signature that combines visual depth with the durability and premium tactile quality required for a high-performance convertible.

Its active counterpart at the rear is the electrically extendable carbon-fiber rear spoiler. Depending on vehicle speed, it deploys in several stages to progressively increase downforce at the rear axle and enhance driving stability. Under heavy braking above 140 km/h (87 mph), the spoiler pivots into a vertical position to act as an air brake, increasing aerodynamic drag and supporting effective deceleration. The inverted “77” logo positioned beneath the rear window is a further nod to 1977, the year Bodo Buschmann founded BRABUS.

POWER & SOUND. GRAN TURISMO CONVERTIBLE.

At the heart of the BRABUS BODO CABRIOLET is a hand-built 5.2-liter V12 biturbo engine producing 735 kW / 1,000 hp at 6,400 rpm and a maximum torque of 1,200 Nm (885 lb-ft), available between 2,900 and 5,000 rpm. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission with torque converter, which can also be operated manually using the carbon-fiber BRABUS paddle shifters at the steering wheel. An electronically controlled differential with up to 100 percent locking capability optimally distributes power between the two driven rear wheels.

From a standstill, the BRABUS BODO CABRIOLET accelerates to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.0 seconds. After 8.5 seconds, the 2+2-seater reaches 200 km/h (124 mph). The sprint from 0 to 300 km/h (186 mph) is completed in 23.9 seconds. Its top speed is electronically limited to 360 km/h (223 mph).

The BRABUS stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system is calibrated with equal precision. Four carefully tuned metal catalytic converters and special gasoline particulate filters optimize exhaust backpressure across the rev range, supporting efficient gas flow and contributing to maximum power delivery. Electronically controlled exhaust valves allow the driver to vary the acoustic character from a more discreet tone to an extremely sporty V12 engine note.

WHEELS & CHASSIS. BESPOKE FORGED.

The 2+2-seater’s Kevlar-lined wheel arches accommodate 22-inch BRABUS Monoblock Z-GT “Platinum Edition” forged wheels. Manufactured using state-of-the-art forging technology and CNC machining, the design features 20 concave spokes and a center-lock-style hub cover. A paint-matched, polished finish in “Silk Stone” completes the look. The wheels are fitted with Pirelli P Zero high-performance tires. Developed specifically for the BRABUS BODO CABRIOLET and also available for the coupe model, the dedicated Pirelli P Zero measures 285/30 ZR 22 at the front and 335/25 ZR 22 at the rear. Its structure and compound were optimized to maximize high-speed stability and transfer the V12 engine’s immense power and torque to the road while maintaining a high level of driving comfort and steering precision. In line with Pirelli’s Perfect Fit strategy, the bespoke tires are identified by an exclusive “BB” marking on the sidewall.

The suspension architecture of the BRABUS BODO combines a double wishbone front setup with a highly sophisticated multi-link rear axle. From the cockpit, the driver can select from five different driving modes, ranging from a comfort-oriented setup for everyday road use to a distinctly firm configuration designed for maximum performance on the racetrack. Furthermore, the BODO CABRIOLET is equipped with a lift system for both the front and rear axles, allowing the entire vehicle to be raised by approximately 25 millimeters (0.9 in.). Once a speed of 45 km/h (28 mph) is reached, the suspension automatically returns to its normal ride height.

INTERIOR. MASTERPIECE.

The BRABUS BODO CABRIOLET in “Silk Stone” features a meticulously crafted BRABUS Masterpiece interior conceived as a seamless continuation of the exterior design. Fine leather, trim elements and carbon-fiber components throughout the steering wheel, dashboard, center console and door panels are all color-matched to the bodywork, creating a distinctly monochromatic atmosphere with a refined, contemporary character.

Passengers are welcomed by stainless-steel BRABUS entry panels. The ergonomically contoured seats combine exceptional long-distance comfort with strong lateral support during dynamic driving. The flat-bottomed steering wheel is engineered for optimal grip and complemented by BRABUS carbon-fiber pedals and a custom footrest. A newly stylized 3D interpretation of the characteristic BRABUS “Shell” quilting provides a defining visual theme across all four seats. The pattern continues throughout the leather-trimmed cockpit floor, rear deck, luggage compartment, floor mats and trunk liner, reinforcing the cohesive interior concept. Centrally positioned “Double-B” logos and BRABUS Masterpiece plaques further underscore the exclusive character of the cabin.

BESPOKE AND BEYOND.

To complete the ownership experience, each BRABUS BODO CABRIOLET is delivered with a selection of bespoke accessories. The vehicle keys are trimmed in matching leather, while a leather BRABUS “Weekender” bag, likewise color-matched to individual interior configurations, provides the ideal companion for extended journeys and weekend escapes. What is more, each vehicle is equipped with a blockchain-based Digital Product Passport, integrated directly into a dedicated BRABUS Spec Plate in the luggage compartment. Developed in collaboration with the Aura Blockchain Consortium, the system provides verified documentation of authenticity, ownership and vehicle specification – ensuring complete transparency and traceability for every BRABUS Masterpiece produced in Bottrop, Germany.
